Hofstra Career Center: Cover Letter? What Do I Cover?

So if you're applying for internships or jobs, you should be submitting a resume and drum roll please...a cover letter! Eek! Gasp! No! But seriously, you shouldn't submit your application without a cover letter, unless the company specifically says DO NOT SUBMIT COVER LETTER.

Yes a cover letter can sound daunting, BUT it's the only other way that you can market yourself to employers in your own words!? So don't fret, it's not that difficult.?
